How do u think u would cope, playing in a single group of between 10-20 players (yes all the one group lol)
Also and mind games? I know i used to ask wether my opponent breathed in or out whilst hitting the ball, their next shot was always fuked up as they couldnt stop considering it. Also i am in Aus i heard the USA has handicap system slightly different than ours, there is no way anybody (not even tiger) could play at the top courses (royal melb, the Aus etc) at a handicap better than +5 or 6, care to run down he system, any difference you know of? |

[ QUOTE ] Limon, How much do you think you've made in your entire life? [/ QUOTE ] just golfing or all advantage play...i dont really separate them. many times the golf match morphs into the poker game and vice versa. [/ QUOTE ]Just golf. I'm sure you've made tons of dough playing poker though. |

[ QUOTE ] also i dont do this for a living its just part of a balanced hustling strategy which includes golf/poker/blackjack and other advantage plays as they pop up. [/ QUOTE ] blackjack is beatable in short spurts. you cant grind it out or you'll be banned from everywhere on the planet in a heartbeat. but if its part of many things you do and you just "hit and run" random properties that you end up at in your normal travels it can be a nice diversion and good moneymaker. elaborate please on the blackjack [/ QUOTE ] |

I'm trying to be a better short game player as you describe yourself. If I short side myself and there is some grass below the ball I don't have a problem with my 60*. The problem is short siding myself on hard pan dirt or no grass. I have no confidence and if I just pitch it I'm left with a long ass putt. Do you have less bounce on your lob to make it more versatile and what disadvantages am I taking with less bounce. Should I take out my 2 iron and play with 2 different lob wedges? Also I am good friends with someone and everytime he marks his ball and putts it back he's a good 1.5 inch closer to the cup. How do I bring this up without basically insinuating that my friend is an angle shooter. [/ QUOTE ] im using the callaway mack daddy phil mickelson 60. the thing is a knife (no bounce) is your friend winning or losing? if hes losing just let him keep on. if hes winning or pulling even mark yours 1.5 inches closer or tell him about an article you read on marking a ball and how "blown away" at how precise you have to be to avoid a penalty. |

Every time you go to take a shot, move your ball 2 inches closer for every shot, not just putting That'll teach him.
Regards chipping, it's all about feel, you can use a lobwedge or whatever but there's nothing wrong with a good ol 8 iron in the back of the stance, hands forward and gently massage it onto the green let the roll do the rest. |

What's your general image? A rich guy who can afford to drop $$ on a lark? Lots of bling? How did you manage your image when you were younger? What did you try to get them to think about you, outside of the golf game itself? [/ QUOTE ] happy go lucky guy who is probably a gambling addict cuase hell splash around w/ way more money than he should be. total sport up for anything. many who know me think im a breakeven at best poker plaeyer and golf winner, others think im a breakeven at best golfer and poker winner.hanging out w/ me is the rake, silent killer. |
