Ok, so I looked on wikipedia and found that hero has a "full house," also known as a "boat" or a "full boat."
There are only 2 hands that beat a full house. One is "four of a kind," also known as "quads." The other is a "straight flush." So the villain has to have either four of a kind or a straight flush. OP said villain does not have a straight flush, so that leaves only four of a kind. Anyway, that's kind of where I get stuck. I think villain either has QQ for four of a kind queens or KK and another K falls on the turn or the river. Is this correct? |

Simulator finally ended.
It came up with: Code:

BAD BEAT SIMULATOR: Total hands calculated: 72,395,875,235 RESULTS: AK,AJ,AT,A9,A8,A7,A6,A5,A4,A3,A2 Running time: 4:12:32 Hands/Second: 15,152

But what could it mean????? How exactly is an A supposed to outdraw a full house? Back to the lab... |

Big Jim,
Ok, I think I got it this time. "How exactly is an A supposed to outdraw a full house?" If the turn and river are both kings, both players have kings full of queens, but now one player has the ace kicker!!!! [/ QUOTE ] I think maybe we're not looking at it the right way. Looking back, I see that ZEEbo might be on to something with his "royal flush" theory. Not sure why the simulator didn't pick it up, though. |
