Koreans won't overcharge whities or undercharge fellow Koreans. They pretty much stick to the price on the menu.
However, I have gotten some free dishes before because I was able to order in Korean, and we ordered a lot. Like free pa-jeun. Awesome!

There's some meal I used to eat in Korea all the time but I've never seen it outside of Chuncheon, it had chicken and all kinds of other stuff mixed in and cooked at the table. Really spicy but they would usually go easy on that stuff with us because we were American and they know we are pussies. Anyone know what I'm talking about? I want some.
edit: I should learn to use google, dakgalbi is awesome.
