Default Registering a Domain Name/Hosting

Im interested in registering a .com. I need registration and hosting. I expect to have average bandwidth needs, ie multiple page site with pictures and small-medium traffic. I do NOT want any ads on my site. Where should I go? Thanks.

I've had nothing but great success with One & One hosting. For about 5 dollars a month you can get a nice package with just about anything the average user would need (and probably more). Check em out.

I would suggest you shop for the two independantly.

I signed up for one of the hosting/registration combo deals and had to jump through some hoops to gain complete control of my domain prior to switching hosts.

I've had my domain with them for 2 years and I've been very pleased. Software control panel is good; phone support is excellent.
