if any of you knew, then you'd prob know the mistakes. So could fix them fast, then become AMAZING.
So in reality, ALOT and NO IDEA WHEN(Well except obvious ones). |

In the Sklansky sense of the mistake, it's almost impossible to go 10 hands without making some sort of mistake.
In the sense of making a play or a fold where the reality is that you chose the -EV option given the info out there, I certainly feel good when I'm making only one mistake every 200 or so hands. You can't expect to play perfectly. More to the point you can swap small mistakes (limp-calling a raise with a suited connector) for larger postflop mistakes from your opponents. A speculative mistake, in a sense. |

I play live but usually find 5+ plays every night that I regret and usually more. The key is learning from these mistakes and not making the same ones again. This is how we all become better poker players

Out of every 1000 hands, for example:
There's normally a couple of hands where I think "I really ballsed that up", and try and learn something from my horrendous error(s). There's probably another 10 or so where I realise I made some minor mistakes. Probably a ton of other minor mistakes which I was too busy to notice. There is also lost EV from multitabling, where I fold a playable hand because I'm too busy at other tables. |

42 [/ QUOTE ] me to.. no matter how long, what game, what stakes, what time, what place. I'm trying to get it down to 41 though. My strategy is to cash out @ 41, but last time I did this I mucked my hand without looking and turned out they were aces so I'm still stuck at 42. |

I like to limit my live mistakes to 3 and then I pack it up. |
