Why WOULDNT you call...Dont be results oriented, in poker many times the best play makes you lose cash, but calling is really your only option. I dont care if villian is tighter then a damn nun, I insta-call 100% of the time...

of course the donk was an instacall, like i said i wanted to hear some opinions about playing an almost nut hand like this against a tight/good player with an overbet like that.

There acctually are a few players against whom i can find a fold, but they are few, and it would have to be >200bb for me to think about it..

Yeah call. What you're worried that the donk has specifically Tc8c or 8c6c? That seems like playing scared and I'd call happily. The flop and turn look good too given the implied odds against a LAGdonk. Preflop is debatable due to his aggression, but at least you have position.
