It's really a 2 QB league, and I'm lucky most of my opponents haven't caught on to that. [/ QUOTE ] And apperently neither did lots of 2p2ers lol. |

I understood that but there's still no reason to have 5 in a position that only has 2. You really need only 3 at the QB position. Honestly your RB/WR are pretty bad, they ened work if you want to win your league.

Full keeper league (you get a player, you have him for life, rookie/FA draft each year). There are 12 teams, 18-man roster, standard 8 starters (3 receivers can be WR or TE). I won four titles from 1999-2002 but my RBs have gone to crap and my team sucks. Rebuilding time, so here is the massive trade I just made:
I give up Peyton Manning & Hines Ward. I get Michael Vick, Jerious Norwood, Maurice Jones-Drew, and a first-round pick in both 2007 and 2008. Thoughts? Here is the look and logic for 2007 and forward: QB Young (Tennessee a little better by next year) QB Vick (still has potential to be a stud) RB Turner (has to be a starter somewhere next year, this is last year of SD contract) RB Davis (if he comes back healthy, and Texans have to be drafting/signing O-Line this offseason) RB Norwood (Dunn is 31, so he is almost finished, and Norwood should take over) RB Jones-Drew (if Taylor is done--he is 30) WR Bennett WR Winslow WR Kennison WR ??? K Elam DT Bengals (defensive coach so they should always be decent on D) It doesn't look like my old championship teams (Manning, Faulk, Harrison, Ward) but I like it. It gets me back in the game, I think. |

Vick doesn't have the potential to be a stud. He's good but can be very mediocre at times. Norwood and J_D are good but your going to obviously give up on this year.
Turner isn't ever going to start if LT is there. I'm sorry, he's probally better but LT is thought of one of the premier backs in football. He blocks well, he runs decently and catches well and is a TD threat inside the read zone every time. I like Norwood and Jones-Drew but then again you have no exact time table. They have talent to be starters next year but then again they are big question marks. Peyton still has a lot of good years in him. I'd rather get actual starters then potential starters if your going to give a top 3 QB and get back at best a top 15 quarters back and 2 guys who should start but won't next year. |

How about this?
Brady for McGahee + Droughns or Jordan for Wayne. Upgrades at RB and WR all around. Of course, I give up QB1 in a 6 point TD league with 2 QB's, but Rivers is a good start, and Grossman hopefully doesn't suck as badly as he does in the Ari game, should've traded him earlier. |

I don't think Brady is significantly better than Rivers / Grossman. Grossman will still have a lot of good games.
How bout Brady + Jordan for McGahee and Wayne? |

my team-
QB- Peyton, Pennington RB- Portis, Caddy, Taylor, Maroney WR- Wayne, Galloway, Branch, Bruce his team- QB- Leftwich RB- Alexander, Addai, Barlow WR- Boldin, Burress, Jackson, Reggie Williams, Furrey I'd like to upgrade at least one of my WR slots, he's obviously hurting pretty bad at RB with alexander out and nothing on the WW... He's looking to make a trade for a RB with his WR with someone, what kind of trade should i even offer? i guess the better question might be, am i hurting enough at WR and strong enough at Rb that i sh ould even offer one? |

Which means he'll almost certainly be the starter somewhere. |
