In terms of XX RAGED XX, he's doing fine. He did well in the WCOOP. He also just played EPT Dublin, although he didn't cash ... this is him at the event: [/ QUOTE ]

For some reason I can't quite put my finger on, I find that picture absolutely hilarious.

Because you can visably seen the pain he's in on his face as he's trying that hard to look cool?

Just read Bluff Magazine where Matasow says he came into this year's WSOP "without a quarter," because he said he lost $400,000 playing online. [/ QUOTE ] I saw this too. Amazing. Difference between me and Matusow: If I EVER have $400k the chances of me EVER going broke are extremely remote. In fact, even with a poker bankroll at only $10k-$20k I'm fairly confident that it's pretty unlikely to happen. It's $400-freaking-K. And he blows it all online and doesn't have a quarter to his name?!?! I mean, if I ever went on such a losing streak at fairly high limits with a $400k roll I would at least have the common-sense to slow-down after dropping the first $200k or $300k or $350k. Blowing through all of it is just idiotic. Obviously he's not the first to have done something like this so I'm probably just under-estimating the power of tilt and gambling-addiction, etc etc. |

If I play above my bankroll and blow off a huge chunk of cash over a few nights, I'd have to move down, Matusow would just have to make a few phone calls. At least part of the reason these players seem to have so much more gamble in them is that their actual bankroll is much bigger than the amount of money they have at any given time. |
