sorry from memory and still 1/2 asleep

I do know I lost to quad 9s and I had a boat... ah not worth even looking up - i know it was a pretty crazy river - cant believe he stayed in 3 ways with all the raises to pull the last 9!

Well, my 50BB shot (which ended up being more than 50BB) did not work out at 10/20. I think I played pretty well, and am chalking this one up to mostly running very poorly. So, I am moving back to 5/10 and am going to have to step up my playing if I still want to make my goal of $5k for November. Oh well, we'll see what happens.

edit: oh, and my loss since declaring this challenge was probably about 100BBs.

bah...turning 2.2bb/100 to .25bb/100 in 100 hands was almost worth it just to hit the cash out button on Paradise. my poker pattern looks like a nice square now.

Default Running hot...

This is a bad beat jackpot table -- I don't play there to hit the jackpot, just that I'm finding it easy to get juicy tables and I've been running hot enough that I don't mind the extra rake (hitting the deck like this never hurts ).

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

"Never mind that I have an underpair to the entire board, I have two frigging pair and I'm going to show it down"

Same session a few hands later. I didn't connect the pair of 9's at showdown with a flopped set, and I don't have chat on so I didn't notice the chat box erupting on the next hand. Got curious this morning and realized I had only been two outs away from about $20k. Damn that would've been a nice christmas bonus...

(the converter is confused -- there was no UTG post and it loses track of BB somehow)

Now I can make use of this thread.

Tonight:

AA three times. Busted every time. Once when it made a set. AK just busted on an AKx flop (two suited makes F)

Lost with Top Pair or better to a straight or a flush at least 9 times. Usually on the river.

As I'm typing this 44 calls my 88 raise. I'm betting into QQ5 flop and betting all the way. He gets 4 on river!

Just now! I raise JTs. 1 caller. Flop 894. Semibluff bet/call, turn pairs 4, semibluff bet/call, I river the nut straight. Villian has 88 full house!

I'm getting such hot cards on the table I'm on now I'm at 38/27 after 85 hands. (My regular stats are 30/17. I'm not tilting, I'm getting hot cards.) I've gone to 49% of showdowns! And only won 41%!

And this is all Short Hand! Blah.

At least I'm only down 25BB after 500 or so hands (and I've picked up almost 25BB in clearing bonus.) I think I've done well under the circumstances.
