Default 100 NL 6-max | 55+OESD faces AI on the flop from SS.

In the hand before this one SB lost 200+BB pot with TPTK where UTG+1 4bet AI on flop with FD. Button is lose pf and pasive post flop.

What do you think

Blinds: $0.50/$1
6 players

UTG: $191.30
UTG+1: $261.35
Hero: $99.00
Button: $44.76
SB: $32.88
BB: $177.80

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is CO with 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $4</font>, Button calls, SB calls, BB folds, UTG+1 calls.

Do you like it? I thought that SB could have something like AJ here...

lol why in the world would you put him on AJ? [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

If you have a good read however, you might be able to put him on a flush draw often enough for this to be ok.

I ment "something" like AJ: A9-AK, KJ-KQ. I guess I wanted to say that I put him on two overcards because of the way he pushed on the flop.

I'm sure you'd like to do that a lot... I catch myself thinking that a few times when I just WANT to call so badly. I just convice myself that they have 2 overs, when really it's more likely to be an overpair.

You know the player better than I do, so I guess trust your read... but to me this looks like an over pair... maybe 88 to JJ (higher than that would have reraised you preflop). Barring that, he could had AK, AQ (more likely AQ). But I'd say a pocket pair is most likely.

Edit: I just saw where you said he'd lost a 200 BB pot before. You're right, 2 overs is a definite possibilty here. My fault.
