200k was just an example; but my house was only 215k in Atlanta; that's 2300ish sq feet with all upgrades (iron railing, granite, stainless steel, tall upgraded cabinets, recessed lighting, speaker wire/conduit to every room into central area for a/v and automation, 3 bedroom/2.5 bath/2 lofts that could be bedrooms if drywalled, jacuzzi, all ceilings 9ft to 25ft, fenced in yard, brick front, 2-car garage, etc)
Atlanta homes are cheap compared to many big cities ![]() ![]()

You people on the coasts with your crazy housing markets.
Total cost on my house was around $170K. It's about on par with Nichp's (little bigger, not as many upgrades - man, I want that kitchen.) |

Nich, your kitchen looks just like mine except it's nice.

Mostly I want the countertops. And the bigger cabinets. And maybe that fridge - especially if it's a SubZero.
I actually have that paper towel dispenser. |

I actually have that whole kitchen. It's uncanny how, if I took a picture from the same angle, his kitchen looks like mine redone.
