Default Why it\'s important to reraise with good hands

Absolute, 6 max:

Hero is BB with 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
UTG raises, MP calls, CO folds, Button calls, SB folds, hero calls getting 7.5/1.

Flop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] j[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Hero checks, UTG bets, MP calls, CO folds, hero calls getting 12:1 with bottom pair and bdfd.

Turn: 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Hero checks, UTG bets, MP calls, hero raises, UTG calls, MP calls.

River: 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Hero bets, UTG calls, MP calls.

Hero has full house; UTG has unimproved AKo, MP has QQ.
Hero wins 14BB pot.

MP could have knocked me out preflop or on flop with a raise. Thanks for being the ultimate calling station buddy!

Oh, speaking of calling stations, did I ever mention how much I love them:

Absolute 6 max:

Hero is MP with AA.

UTG bets, hero raises, CO folds, Button reraises, SB calls (all in), BB folds, UTG caps, hero calls, button calls.

Flop: 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

UTG checks, hero bets, button calls, UTG calls.

Turn: Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

UTG checks, hero bets, button calls, UTG calls.

River: 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

UTG checks, hero bets, button calls, UTG calls.

Result: hero wins 15.5BB pot with AA. Button mucks JJ; SB mucks AK; UTG mucks Q2 (wtf?).

Default Boy do I looooooove poker. (SW)

This is definitely a "WAAAAH" post, but this is the appropriate thread for it!

Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG calls, 2 folds, MP2 calls, 1 fold, CO calls, Hero raises, SB :#A500AF(superdonk)/ 3-bets, 1 fold, UTG folds, MP2 folds, CO folds, Hero caps, SB :#A500AF(superdonk)/ calls.

Flop: (12 SB) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
superdonk bets, Hero raises, superdonk 3-bets, Hero caps, superdonk calls.

Turn: (10 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
superdonk checks, Hero bets, superdonk calls.

River: (12 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
superdonk checks, Hero bets, superdonk calls.

Final Pot: 14 BB
Main Pot: 14 BB, between Hero and superdonk.

What really blows is I knew he flopped a set of Kings and would pay me off dearly. I'm not worried about him having either a Q or J in his hand. Especially not QJ. This a**hole had the nerve to say later at the same table that "PP always kills him on the river".

I had to remind him that PP saved him a lot of bets on this hand. He still didnt get it. Someone else at the table said "Fair that neither of you lost that hand" "F*** you buddy!" lol.

EDIT: I don't know why it disguised his hand but he indeed had KK.

Default wee poker is fun

Just wanted tell you all that poker is definately beatable. I discovered this today. There are so many people playing with the "any hand can win" mentality. I lost 60BB in 200 hands but boy what a rush.

Default Re: 11 BB Downswing? Post it in here! (Designated No Content Thread)

Just played a few hundred 6 MAX $1 $2 hands on Party, and boy were the tables tight. Never seen anything like it. When I checked the lobby for highest pots there was one 6 max game in the top ten the rest were all full ring! When was the last time you saw that?

At least I won 25 pounds on total bet for this hand. Otherwise I'd be looking for something to break:

Crypto 6 max:

Hero is MP w/ AA. 1 fold, Hero raises, 2 folds, SB fish calls, BB folds.

Flop: 456.

Check, bet, call.

Turn: 9

Check, bet, call.

River: 5

Check, bet, call.

Fish flips over J5o for the rivered trips, which he didn't even raise with! What the hell did he think I had that beat him? Pocket 9's? Oh that's right, he wasn't thinking. He's a fish.
