I sent an e-mail to Chris Matthews show Hardball. I got a very nice e-mail back saying they were looking into this story. Maybe more should send e-mails. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3036697/

I also sent one to Larry King.....no response yet from him.

I saw a piece about this on CNN. They talked about how it destroyed jobs over-seas, how it killed 888 and PG and going to cost Europe 100s of millions. The CNN report was very gambling friendly. Try writing Wolf or Dobbs?

Good initiative. I think perhaps an even better platform to launch this media campaign is syndicated radio talk show host Neal Boortz, a staunch libertarian.

I have already taken your well-crafted e-mail to Bill O'Reilly and lightly edited it and sent it to Mr. Boortz's radio show. I feel confident he will raise the issue. Others can contact him at: http://boortz.com/cgi-bin/mail.cgi?id=boortz

If we want our voice heard we must contact the major media. The Poker Players Alliance even has e-mail links to use.

I do too, where is the 3rd fan?? Is he on here??

In all seriousness, there is an online gambling ad in every single commercial break on the Stern show so theyd probably talk about it if contacted...

You guys don't get it. A TRUE conservative would be totally against this legislation. Limbaugh would probably shock you by being against this. Read this great article in Newsmax for a true conservative view on this.

Don't confuse extreme right wing religious wackos wth us true conservatives.

Great post and link.

I feel the same way.

Boortz will talk a little about the bill today, as it is mentioned in his program notes: Neal's Nuze

BTW, he's not really a "staunch" libertarian, as he disagrees with their position on the war in Iraq.

He's spent most of the day today saying he feels like he doesn't have a home as far as political parties go, since the Republicans apparently think it's okay to have sex with their pages, and really have no interest in protecting freedom. He hasn't yet talked about the gambling bill.

I'm a pretty loyal Boortz listener.
