Actually, it's the similarity and the difference between DNA from different species. The fact that we're upwards of 98% similar to a chimpanzee at the genetic level, and only (but still) 60-80% similar to a fish means something that you're unlikely to be able to grasp.

Your example is stupid, and has absolutely nothing to do with biology or evolution. Use of the absurd to demostrate a point is useful in some cases, but when misapplied it only makes the user look dumb, as is the case here.

Best answer I got for this stuff is I have 2 friends how are phd bioligists. One's answer? Evolution REGULARLY screws up his experiments with some short lived grub he studies. He has a nice stable population doing protein work and then a mutation changes the protein in one and it often spreads.

But there will be no convincing you, I'm sure. But I've followed the OOT rule and quoted a source.
