Haven't walked out of any movie largely because i'm damn good at decifering the worth of a film from it's trailers (though Jack fooled me something awful). I would have walked out of McHale's Navy but i was with a friend and his mom, so I couldn't; and the only reason we watched was because she got free passes and we had nothing to do that afternoon. After the movie, she apologized profusely and bought us dinner. That's how bad the movie was.

[ QUOTE ]
I have never walked out on a movie that I can remember but I fell asleep in one - the Scarlett Letter. One of the worst movies of all times. [/ QUOTE ] Embarassingly that was my choice. We did recently try to watch Freedomland with Samuel L. Jackson and Julianne Moore but to shut it off. That was another one of my choices... . I told Utah not to let me choose anymore, I don't have a great track record. |

I have never walked out. The most walkouts I ever experienced was the Thin Red Line where at least one third of the crowd got up at some point and left. At the end I was very envious of them and wished I woulda went to.

I know for sure I've never walked out of a movie. However, I don't think I've ever quit watching a movie because it was so bad (on tape/dvd that is).
However, I remember waiting, waiting, and waiting for somethign to happen in Punch Drunk Love that was supposed to make that film so good (based on reviews/ratings). It never came and that might have been one of the biggest letdowns I've ever had. I remember my dad saying "Uhhh, I'm picking next time we rent." |

only movie i can remember walking out on was The Hulk.
which was sad because i like ang lee, but jeez it was pretty damn terrible. my wife wanted to walk out on Crash (the james spader one) from the Ballard novel, but i love Ballard and wouldn't leave, movie was so so at best. did The Hulk get much hate, because it actually did ok at the box office. anyway that is all i could think of. Robin Hood: Men in Tights - I was in high school at the time, and I guess I just didn't get the whole Mel Brooks thing. Apparently I was expecting something different. I thought it was terrible. Though I'd actually rewatch it if I ever saw it on TV now to see if it's as bad as I remembered.
