Stop watching the TV broadcasts. You aren't handling them well.
Maybe this will help a little. How many repeat winners were there 15 years ago? 25 years ago? How many have one more than 2 main event bracelets? |

Sorry guys, but until they start showing you every hand on TV, you will have no real clue as to whether we were lucky or unlucky, or played great or terrible. What you see on TV is such a smidgeon of what really happened, it is almost irrelevant. It is only good for entertainment value, NOT for instruction.

Greg,
Out of curiosity, who would you pick on the list? |

Sorry Greg (if u read this),
I have too many favorites from over the years, I've really like Daniel N. but the past 1/2 year or so he has been in a "slump" in his terms, but not to mine at all... 2. I'm still a huge Howard Lederer fan, he's gotta be up there too.. 3. You can't beat Harrington as long as he's wearing his pimped out Boston Red Sox hat.. 4. Phil Ivey, the tiger woods of Poker, his presence is just so intimidating (as I'm sure most of us could attest to that). 5. Chris Ferguson - His consistency in big WSOP tournaments cannot be denied, he's just a great tourney player in general. |

Very easy given the choices: Other. But if that choice isn't available, I'll take Ivey.
