I've notice this script slows my computer down a bit. It's not terrible but is this standard?

Try changing this line to 150 or 200 or 250 or 300, etc.

It's just decreasing the frequency that the script loops through and checks to see if the action is on you. I personally have mine at 2000 with little/no noticeable delay and the script consumes less than 1% CPU.

Makes me feel a bit lazy saying: No. Sure it can be done, but I'm a little swamped with other stuff, don't play at Party anymore and my own copy of TH is full of personal adjustments not uploaded to OC, so I won't have a go at this any time soon, sorry. Perhaps Dave can adjust his old code?

Going to give it a try a 2000, it was previously set to 250.

I haven't even thought about using that large timeout. Good find.

Too bad that the flashing feature doesn't work well with values > 250 though. I might trade the flashing for better performance though.

I will try - unfortuantely my modified highlighter code stopped working (due to a party update, I believe) and the next version posted was Roland's (very good, but massively different) script. This makes it hard for me to see what needed changed to make the old code work again, and I just started using Roland's version while I cleared a bonus there.

I have not returned to Party since, but I will, and I will try and figure out (and fix) why the version I had no longer works. Any ideas what happened, Roland? Adde?

Alternatively I may try and modify the Roland version to colour-shift / beep, but the code is somewhat above my comprehension and it may take me some time fo figure out what is going on

Hi Adde,

I hope you don't mind (and I didn't just break something).

Overcards.com page updated - Stars should now work again.

I just edited the IsTableWaitingPokerStars() function to fix the Highlighter on Stars - the update a few days ago changed the NL bet-box from Edit6 to Edit7.
