Favorite Poker Site?

As I rarely see many well-known players calling Paradise Poker thier home, I was wondering -

#1 - Why does it seem this way? Is there somehing I don't know about my poker home?

#2 - What is the best place to play online and for what reason?

I have been on Paradise Poker for a little over a year now but am curious if I should be broadening my horizons. I tried Ultimate Bet and didn't like the gameplay or the amount of tourneys offered. Any suggestions? Look forward to reading your replies. Thanks!

Thanks for the advice. I'm certainly not trying to start a debate on this, but you say "lots of tournaments". I logged on to PokerStars just now, and there are a total of 5 tourneys registering and all 5 are just sit and gos. Paradise Poker has 20 or so at ALL TIMES and often times, many more than that to chose from.

Am I missing something here with Poker Stars? I've had an account for awhile now but never funded it because there just doesn't seem to be alot of action compared to Paradise.

You are missing something. There are tons of tournaments.

IMO stars is the best site for tourneys. Yeah, you must've overlooked something because stars has a lot of tourneys going on all the time. Make sure you go to the "tourney" tab and look under there for scheduled tourneys. They also have some nice sitngo tourneys that are always starting up both single table and multi-table.

I like absolute myself, tons of tournys, sit and go, heads up, qualifiers, The 100$ tournys are good. They even have 1$ tournys... Wastes of time.. but if ur cheap or the [censored] there u go.

Dont like $ games at absolute though.

Woooooooo Party Poker. I just play the STT's there and prefer the structure and look of the tables over Stars. Never a slow time of day really so its easy to always have 5 open.

Stars. Usually there are somewhere from 4-10 $11x$45 sngs running at a time. Tons of tourneys. How did you only see 5?
