Team B gets:

LOL, this trade already has five objections. > 3 and it goes to the SportsLine Commissioner for a final decision. I wasn't involved on either end of this one, just wanted to see if it was worth vetoing or not.

Alright, so Im new to this fantasy football stuff and have struggled to first 3 weeks now and am looking to make some moves so heres the trade I proposed, my team, and the other guy's team.

My Team
Tom Brady
Santana Moss
Drew Bennett
Steven Jackson
Corey Dillon
Marques Colston
Tatum Bell
Mo Morris
Lamont Jordan
Gonzalez
Joe Horn
Drew Brees
Greg Jennings

His Team
C. Palmer
Stallworth
Driver
Edge
J. Lewis
Vernon Davis
Armani Toomer
Kitna
Antonio Bryant
Deshawn Johnson
Keyshawn
Braylen Edwards

I proposed:
Gonzalez for Driver
He's deep at WR and I like Colston so I figure I can get rid of Gonzo

He counter-proposed:
Moss and Gonzo for Driver and Johnson

What do you think? Is this worth doing? If not, do you see any other combinations that might be a good trade? Thanks

Dynasty league.

I have Westbrook. Someone just dropped Buckhalter to pick up Maurice Morris. The only RB I have that's remotely droppable is Michael Turner.

Hold onto the guy with higher long-term upside or handcuff my stud? Other RBs are Frank Gore, Julius Jones, Caddy Williams.

Dynasty league again.

QBs are Delhomme/Plummer/Pennington. I'm trying to trade for Brees, but haven't heard back. If I did, it'd likely be some package deal involving Delhomme/Pennington.

With Simms out, should I consider dropping Plummer for Gradowski? High risk, high reward if he performs well. Plummer's aging, and likely has a year, maybe two left in him.

Thoughts?

Gradowski is just an insurance policy on Simms. I wouldn't do it.

I have a question to ask, non Dynasty. I'm looking to get Rudi Johnson. I have 5 WRS:

Braylon
Stallworth
Roy Williams
D. Bennett
J. Walker

Of the 5, which 3 do you think will be the best. Of the top 3, who do you think will have the best season.

For me it'll be.

Top 3:

D. Stallworth
R. Williams
J. Walker

I'm looking to move D. Bennett, R. Williams, T. Bell and C. Williams for Rudi and C. Chambers. Is this fair.

If I do this I'll still have Gore, Droughns, Green as my other backs.

This will leave me with:

QB: Peyton / Plummer (week 6, Peyton's bye week he plays Oakland and plays Oakland during the FF Playoffs)
RB: Rudi / Gore / Green / Reuben
WR: Stallworth / Chambers / Edwards / Walker
TE: Gates
K: Gould
Def: Chicago

I'll be taking a hit on backup RBs and a small hit at WR but I think in the long run Chambers - Culpepper will come a round (anyone else share this belief).

His current WRS / RBS are:

WR: Chambers / Evans / Henderson (Devry) / Jurevicius (?) / Burleson
RB: Bush / Rudi / Betts

He has luck boxed to a 2-1 record when I've scored about 30 more per game and have the same record. I think with Rudi my team will be ultra strong but I would miss my depth at RB. Rudi has a tough schedule which worries me. Do you guys think I should try to pull it or look at trading for another star RB (Larry J, Shaun A (not really that interested right now), Portis (Houston was a joke), McGahee (no TDs yet), Westbrook (going to be hard to pry away right now and injury prone)).

Waiver wire also has some good players left:

Maurice Jones Drew
Eric Johnson (Gates hasn't produced yet)
Eric Moulds
Mike Bell
T. Jones
Reggie Williams
Michael Robinson (if Gore get's hurt loks like a capable backup)

Time to dump Mike Bell???

My league only has 4 bench spots. Should I give up on him?

I like Braylon a lot. I just have worries about their squad and their division although he was outstanding versus Baltimore (anyone know why? is it because they just didn't run without reuben).

the only thing about Roy is they are still implementing the Martz offence, so he could get better although this weeks game could be a false-positive due to them playing against a very weak GB packers D.

pull the trade, you can get a decent QB to back up palmer for the off weeks although the thing about DJ is they are going to have 3 very good WRs splitting balls but they will be without SA for a while. I'd take it though b/c you probally won't play eli much with an outstanding #1 qb.

You start 1 or 2 QBs? If 1, I think it's a no-brainer. It'd be nice to wait until Cinci's bye week, but I don't know when that is.
