Apparently you and I are the only ones that thought that this game was one of the very best ever on console. Great combination of action/shoot em up and strategy/WOW style gaming.

Shadowrun ROM. Just found it through google, haven't tried it out. I'm pretty much a ROM/emulater noob, and don't have time to check it out. If someone else can, I'd appreciate it.

astro,

My parents refused to buy me any console, so I had to save and save when I was a little kid. If I remember right, it took me months to get $100 dollars. I bought a Genesis because my best friend had a Nintendo and I figured we could just switch houses whenever we wanted to switch platforms.

My dad ended up playing it just as much as I did. Wish he would have helped pay for it.

woah badass all the love for shadowrun! game is so sick!

shining force 1 and 2 were sweet.

Are you sure you're not thinking of the SNES Shadowrun? That one was great. Genesis Shadowrun was completely different. I own it but haven't played for longer than 10 minutes...it doesn't seem promising.

Shining Force is excellent (haven't played 2), but was it revolutionary enough to be in the canon?
