Anybody else get migraine headaches? I've never had a kidney stone, so I can't compare, but they aren't fun.

Anybody else get migraine headaches? I've never had a kidney stone, so I can't compare, but they aren't fun. [/ QUOTE ] I used to. The only thing I could do was throw up a few times and then lie perfectly still in a perfectly dark and perfectly quiet room for a few hours. I grew out of them as I left my 20s, I still have no idea what caused them. The pain wasn't the worst, but the nausea they caused was brutal, these were headaches I felt in my balls. |

for me it was an ulcer in my eye (take your contacts out every night), but i would imagine that both kidney stones and a broken femur would be worse

The actual pain from the headache isn't too bad, but the overall shittyness of the entire experience when you combine the headache with the nausea is less than ideal. I can explain to people what the headache feels like, but I have a hard time describing what the nausea is like. |

Worst pain was after getting surgery to fix a broken nose and the doctor forgot to give me any pain medication after packing my nose so that the nerve was being squeezed---felt like a straight razor inside my brain..
second worst is a dental infection probably similar to the OP's |

Fortunately, I haven't had too many experiences with terrible pain, but my winner was from when I was a kid.
As many might know, our molars grow in in pieces, which then fuse together to form the tooth. Well, mine didn't fuse completely, so I had five cavities in my molars. Not unusual, just sucky. The problem was that my dentist didn't like to use novocaine on children. Five cavities. All drilled with zero numbing agents. |

For me it's gallbladder stones and nothing has even come close. [/ QUOTE ] I am so stupid I spent nearly a year not doing anything about this, and enduring the worst agony of my life. From wiki : Biliary colic This is when a gallstone blocks either the common bile duct or the duct leading into it from the gallbladder. This condition causes severe pain in the right upper abdomen and sometimes through to the upper back. It is described by many doctors as the most severe pain in existence, between childbirth and a heart attack.[citation needed] Other symptoms are nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, bleeding caused by continuous vomiting, and dehydration caused by the nausea and diarrhea. Another more serious complication is total blockage of the bile duct which leads to jaundice, which if it is not corrected naturally or by a surgical procedure can be fatal as it causes liver damage. The only long term solution is the removal of the gall bladder. I almost died |
