Re: Arlington, Virginia and Ann Arbor Michigan zip codes
scrapperdog...we're working hard on this, I can assure you that. We have a team right now inside D.C. fighting hard. Our action plan is to take down this latest effort by Frist. Once we accomplish that we will look at his next move and react accordingly. We have a few lawmakers on our side who would agree to a study before a ban. A study would at least give us a year or two to educate and activate more troops. There is a large portion of the Senate and as we saw in July the House as well who would like to see this ban passed. We just have to play this day by day and hope we get through this week, then the lame duck session without a successful movement. Its clear inside lobbying efforts are begining to falter. That's what makes our message at NROG more important. We must finally stand up and take this issue to the people. The reason this is such an easy push for Congress is that 90% of the country has no idea it's going on. Ask your neighbor. Your relatives. Your banker. They need to know a basic right is going to be taken away. Its not about gambling online...its about standing up to government and telling them to stay out of our personal lives. We must call up the PEOPLE! There is no greater force in this country than that of our fellow citizens. Imagine 200,000 calls rather than 3,000 the next time we mobilize a march. It can and will happen once we launch this message in the media. Will it stop them? No guarantees but lets go for it.
