While I agree with you that in shape or form should a 50 or under player try and give a 530 player advice when they post something, you should try and explaining your thought process behind the play instead of belittling them. That is all. Loling at peoples post, and disagreeing with people, and calling them nits doesn't really accomplish anything. This forum is about getting better at SNG poker, so try explaing why you make a play or why you do something. Don't be like hey stupid 22 player, you are dumb, the end. Help them understand your play, and if you do that, you may get better help from the other higher limit players because they have a clearer understanding of your thinking from the hand.

[ QUOTE ] go on to insult other posters [/ QUOTE ] who did i insult? i think it is silly to give somebody advice on a hand like this where 'floating' was in the title about whether or not to limp or raise the 66 PF, as if i did not know in standard nit SNG play that this is supposed to be a turbo-muck. if we had a split forum these types of things would not happen, but we wont get into that again...though if we are going to have a single STT forum i think if you have never in your life played above $50 SNG's, you probably shouldn't be trying to give serious advice on a $530 hand. just my opinion. [/ QUOTE ] Logical fallacy: Appeal to Authority. Really, are you trying to be a complete jackass here? You're succeeding. |

You played every one of the illustrated streets like s***. [/ QUOTE ] Let me add: Arguably, you played the flop fine, cold calling with position. However, the stacks aren't deep enough for this kind of move. You really have too much of opinion of "solid regulars" if you think that they're laying down any decent holding here. |

[/ QUOTE ] You obviously did not understand the definition. Keep up the good work. |

[/ QUOTE ] I believe that anyone who wins a lot at the $215s and $109s clearly has authority to give advice at a $530s. Ive played some of them, they arent revolutionary. As long as the opponent is a no-name, they generally play pretty badly, and maybe only slightly better than a no-name $215er/$109er. |
