Incidentally, I developed an NBA system, not nearly as granular, with a co-worker of mine. I'm going to play $25/unit on it while it's still in its infancy. I can't imagine any play being worth more than 2 units for now.

Chicago 19-13 Chi/Det over 32.5 -$49.50 I take responsibility for not paying the premium of an extra half-point. Carolina 38-13 Minn/Car under 45 -$53.50 In this one I did buy the half-point to 45 but the Panthers couldn't stop a meaningless late TD on 4th and Goal at 38-7. The score was 10-0 midway through the 2nd quarter (ouch). Oakland 34-25 Tennessee to win -$46.73 I've lost every time I've bet for or against the Titans in 2005. I nearly played 1 unit on the over but the system didn't like the high total. Ironically, the halftime score matched the total, 24-22. Season Total: -10.22 units among 140.22 units transacted. Favorites are still a strong 61-51-3 to date. Expect significant overvaluation of perceived great teams and commensurate undervaluation of their perceived weak counterparts over the next 9 weeks.
