Should I trade Holt+T.Jones+D.Rhodes for LJ?

My current roster looks like this:
QB K. Warner (Ari - QB)
WR C. Chambers (Mia - WR)
WR T. Holt (StL - WR)
WR Ro. Williams (Det - WR)
RB L. Tomlinson (SD - RB)
RB F. Gore (SF - RB)
TE R. McMichael (Mia - TE)
W/R R. Droughns (Cle - RB)
BN D. Rhodes (Ind - RB)
RB T. Jones (Chi - RB)
BN M. Turner (SD - RB)
BN J. Norwood (Atl - RB)
BN T. Williamson (Min - WR)
BN B. Johnson (Min - QB)

[/ QUOTE ]

Seems like an awful trade for you. You're not gaining THAT much at RB, and losing plenty at WR.

My team:

QB: P. Manning
RB: W. McGahee, J. Lewis, B. Jacobs, M. Barber, W. Lundy
WR: A. Boldin, T. Glenn, M. Jones, D. Mason
TE: McMichael
K: Koenen
D: TB

This sucks. I'm dropping Koenen and picking up either Gould or Vanderjagt. I would like a 3rd solid RB. I'm also trying to target a defense. I like normally playing the matchups, but this is a 12 team league and a LOT of teams are carrying 2 defenses. Last week I picked up BUF but dropped them for STL after hearing of injury woes.

I was thinking of offering a WR for J. Addai and CAR D. I think the Panthers will bounce back on D and are undervalued. Also, that Addai will be the man shortly if he isn't right now in Indy. The team with Addai has T. Barber and J. Jones already also. Which WR is the best I can hope to offer for that package? Is Boldin too much? Not enough?

We start 1 RB, 1 WR and 2 flex.

Yea, man. That sucks for you. LJ isn't what he was a year ago, IMO. And you're already solid at RB anyways. Gore turned out two huge games. I would just keep your team the way it is.

Standard Yahoo league. I have Portis, so I could use help at RB.

I give up: Roy Williams
Matt Jones

I get: C. Williams
M. Muhammad

What do you guys think?

Please list the TOP 5 RBs that you would trade for NOW, specifically targeting those that you can trade for relatively cheaply (i.e. no obvious STUDS) and expect somewhat decent results from here on?

[/ QUOTE ]

- C. Taylor
- J. Jones
- Addai
- F. Taylor
- Maroney

I was thinking Gore, Westbrook, McGahee too...but I don't think you can get those guys "relatively cheap".

[/ QUOTE ]

I would also target DeAngelo Williams, I think he'll be starting by Week 7-8. If not, he'll be getting a big share of the workload.

2 Trades in 2 different leagues I am pondering. One has been proposed to me in a friendly 8 team league. The other is one I'm considering proposing in a "for money" 16 team league. Let me know what you think.

Trade 1:

I get Marc Bulger for Chester Taylor straight up.

2QB/2RB/2WR league. 1 point per recption, plus typical 20/20/50 scoring scheme. We only have 3 guys on our bench.

I have Matt Hasselbeck and David Carr as QBs. LT/Taylor/Cadillac/DeAngelo Williams are my running backs.

I just dropped Jake "The Suck" Plummer for Carr. Is the upgrade from Carr to Bulger enough to offset the loss of Taylor? I expect both Williams to pick it up a bit as the year goes on, and DeAngelo is already showing signs of a solid producer.

Trade 2:

I get Reggie Bush for Chris Brown, Samkon Gado and Desmond Clark.

The opponent I'm thinking of proposing this trade to has Ben Troupe as his TE, with none backing him up. I have Alexander as my only remaining RB after this trade, and Alge Crumpler as my TE. My opponent is already pretty deep in RBs, though not much talent. He also has Tiki Barber, Cedric Benson, Jerious Norwood, and Verron Haynes.

1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE + 6 bench players. 10/10/25 point scheme, but not a PPR league.

Is this trade even worth proposing? Should I offer one of Brown/Gado to keep even a little bit of depth considering he probably won't need any more backs. I just don't see him accepting Clark for Bush.

lots a trades and no advice. heres what i think, hopefully a few will return the favor.

spellman, i see no reason to do this trade. you are adding 2 meidocre players will very little upside. at least moss and williamson have shown potential and may blow up.

wickyway, def not. your rbs are solid and holt is huge compared to lesser wr.

blackaces, try to package dmason with barber since that guy has jj.

curtis, good trade since caddy has potential and you arent giving up much.

kyro, i am ignoring you "free" league. otherwise, the bush trade looks good. keep your eyes on the waiver for sleeper rbs.
