It's definitely one of their most popular but I can't think of it as their signature song because it doesn't really sound like any of their other stuff. I'd probably go with Hey Jude.

i think bullet with butterfly wings is better known, although kids today probably don't know any pumkins songs

"Yesterday" is I believe the most-covered song that is not yet public domain. So hard to pick against it. It's hard with the Beatles because there are so damn many.

That is a tough one, I want to say it's Proud Mary which is a bummer since that's a cover

Down on the Corner and Fortunate Son are up there too.
