Default ***Official Week 2 FF Thread***

Here's my team:

8 team league. 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 RB/WR, 1 TE, 1 Defense, and 1 K.
25 passing yds per point; 4 point passing TD; 10 rushing yds per point; 6 points per rushing TD; 10 receiving yds per point; 6 points per receiving TD
QB: Kurt Warner (AZ); Donovan McNabb (PHI); Eli Manning (NYG); Daunte Culpepper (MIA)
RB: Edgerrin James (AZ); Clinton Portis (WAS); Tatum Bell (DEN); Mike Anderson (BAL); Willie Parker (PIT)
WR: Randy Moss (OAK); Santana Moss (WAS); Ernest Wilford (JAC)
TE: Randy McMichael (MIA); Chris Cooley (WAS)
Defense: BAL
K: Shayne Graham (CIN)

Weak at WR. Possibly stacked at QB.

I was just offered McNabb for Plaxico. I think Eli, Warner, and Culpepper should produce well enough for me to give up McNabb, but am I getting enough in return?

Opp also has McGahee, Dunn, DeAngelo Williams, Julius Jones at RB. And Owens, Chambers, Joe Horn, and Donte Stallworth at WR

Just got a trade offer from a disgruntled LJ owner I beat this week.

He gives me LJ + Culpepper and I give him Tiki Barber + Hassleback. I have Warner at QB as well so I'm not too worried about the dropoff there. I'm just not sure what to think of the Chiefs situation. They didn't look good, and Green being out can't do anything but hurt LJs production since they can stack up against him, but he still is the #1 guy, so no brainer?

If you do not make this trade I will hunt you down and kill you out of principle alone.

I need to start 3 WR/TEs.
TD = 6 pts
10 yards = 1 pt, with decimals

Choices are:
Plaxico - 80 yds, 1 TD in week one
Tony Gonzalez - 81 yds, 1 TD
Eric Moulds - 68 yds, 1 TD
L. Coles - 153 yds

I am thinking Plaxico, Gonzalez, and Coles. Mainly because Huard seemed to really key on Gonzalez when he came into the game, and Coles is the primary target for the Jets. I would think that Andre Johnson would probably get more balls than Moulds in the long run.

What do you think?

Hint next year, don't draft 4 QBs ever. 2 Max. You can easily get WW QBs in most leagues and there's no reason to get too many QBs. WRs and RBs are worth a lot more since you have multiple starters and there aren't that many elite ones. Plaxico isn't amazing but he's probally worth the trade, personally I'd rather have Donte or Chambers due to the sheer number of weapons on the Giants but that's just my personal opinion. Chambers will tear up weak Ds and Donte has no other real viable #2 WRs on his team while Plaxico has to split catches from Toomer, Shockey, Barber and possibly a 3rd WR (Moss, etc.).

Auto draft league. But thanks for your advice.

Another owner only has 1 QB (no backup at all). I offered him McNabb for Larry Fitzgerald. He called me crazy.

I'd call you crazy as well. McNabb is still a 40-50 pick guy. Who is his QB? Fitz is a top 20 pick easily. As others were saying, you can easily get decent QBs on the WW while after the first couple of weeks, getting a decent WR or RB is going to be hard to most active leagues WW.

I'm betting these guys are currently available on most leagues WW and should be decent:

Kitna
A. Smith
B. Johnson
K. Collins

While your lucky to get any WR or RB who is decent left e/c due to injuries. Your not going to get a top WR (Fitz is top 5) for McNabb. Your lucky to get a guy like Plaxico, Roy Williams or Walker.
