Default LCD TV as monitor?

Is there any reason I couldn't use, oh say, this....

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...227910?ie=UTF8

as my computer monitor? In other words, are there any technical disadvanages to using an LCD TV rather than a computer monitor (technical, as in, not price and/or having to sit farther away)?

The disadvatage of using this tv is the resolution is so low. It 1366 x 768. In contrast my 20" monitor is set to 1600 x 1200 and my 30" at work is set to 2560 x 1600.

If you do want to use it as a monitor, you'll need to get a hdmi to dvi cable.
