I will take most winning online NL players over any live players who play same limit. Greenplastic/muddywaters/spirit rock and etc etc etc...it is just my opinion. If you disagree that is alright. We can agree to disagree.

Greenplaster vs Tuch or Bart..GP owns.

cheers

Position is enormous at draw. Huge! Under the gun in a 7 handed game, you always check if it's an ante game. If it's a game with blinds, aces is pretty much your minimum opener there, along with the right fraction of pat hand bluffs (jacks, if required). It's been 20 years. Memory fails me.

Altman made a movie in the '70's called "California Split" - it has poker in the penultimate scenes, and I believe Amarrillo Slim was in the scene. I knew nothing about poker at the time, but it was a really decent flick....

California Split totally rocks. It's about a couple of gamblers. One of them does a hit and run at a big poker game with Amarillo Slim in it, then goes and plays table games.

Is it a movie or is it a documentary sort of deal? Sounds more like a documentary. Is it also a popular movie that I would be able to get ahold of somewhere/somehow?

I don't think anyone is arguing that tuch is better than some of the very good online players, but he's (probably) not a donkey (disclaimer: I haven't seen him play enough)

Ok so you have seen a lot of hands and situations thats good for you, and your game... I don't think you could say this player is better than that player just because he plays online or live....

Also im not denying there are some damn good online players I know a few of them as friends... Sdouble is one of the bigger names, however I just couldn't see myself sitting on a computer for 30 hours a week, Plus i like the social aspect of playing poker live as well as the ablity to see my oppenent when he is making that reraise on the river etc..
