Default Re: Copags fading?

Yes. I purchased a deck of "signature" copags. They don't seem to make them any more. The "Copag" name is on the back of the deck. When I was shopping for them over a year ago, I read somewhere that they were the best that Copag made; that they did not bend or bow. Well, they have not bent or bowed, but the faces are fading and the border of the design on the back is fading away. It rubs off. They also are very slick on the table. They slide all over the place.

I play on my dining room table, which is cherry wood. I don't use any kind of felt table cloth. I thought it might have something to do with the table top that I play on. But I've read other posts here and on other message boards from people complaining about copags fading. My blue deck has faded much more than the red.

Someone suggested contacting Copag to see if the company will replace it.

I guess there is a reason that KEM costs more. I also purchased a deck of Del Negros.
