So far, I have found that it's sponsered by PS, a WPT event, 1/5/07-1/10/07

$7800+200 buy-in

nothing else so far

It is held at the Radisson Aruba. Great place to play, but the lowest limits they spread are a 4/8 i believe. I played a little $10 tourney with $25 rebuys ended up taking home $230 for finishing 2nd with only 1 rebuy and 1 addon. Great people at the casino. The regulars there are fun to play with.

Looks like you are confusing Aruba and the Bahamas.

I'm in Aruba right now for work. Casinos are a little weird here. Open at noon (for slots only, table games later). I got in last night and the pokerroom at my hotel sucked. I walked 3 hotels down to the radison, they had a nicer room, maybe 8 tables. Games didn't get started until 9:30 or 10 at night and there were only 2 of them going. A 5/5 NL game (full of loose passive locals, I was up a buy and am a low limit SNG player), and a 4/8LHE game that my friend said was equally as soft.

I haven't been to the UB aruba tournament before. I'm going this year, and from what I've heard there is a lot of side action ranging all the way up to 25-50nl and maybe higher during the tournament week. Everyone I have talked to who has been in the past has said it is a blast.
