so you are basically folding every hand to his $18 raise there?

I'm not just calling for sets

I'd be fine getting it all in on a 456 board.

6 8 9,etc.

[/ QUOTE ]

ok, so you are fine calling the 6.x:1 stack odds reraise so you can be all in for the rest of it as only a small dog the times you have ten outs.

you have a lot to learn about poker. please post in MSNL. this is not meant as a putdown.

look, you might be a good player, but you played this hand retardedly. Even I know that, and I am terrible at NL. Yyou accomplished what you wanted, but the EV of the way you played it is less than the EV of how you should have played it.

thing is most good/great nl players are happy to get it in here with top set against most players...you cant blame him for calling given the fact that you could easily have a lower set or be semibluffing/bluffing some of the time.

plus he's got top set lolomgneverfoldever!!

FGators:

I only read the first 2 pages..but from what I can tell you're a moron.

Even if you have 300 bb's and it's only 1 bb to call...calling with 9,2s on the button is -EV...I don't feel sorry for you at all....enjoy losing your monies.

This depends on relative stack sizes, right? Or maybe it doesn't, I'm curious.

first off he had middle set. the short stack who started this whole problem by minraising with QQ has top set.

so at this point I am going to try and bluff him by pushing $211 with the A of hearts or a Q after I have had a tight table image (I'm sure the jokes are going to fly here beings i called a minraise with 92 suited).

how the hell can you justify his play?

What woudl you say if I was the villain in this hand and I did this?

it's 1/2 NL and he reraised you 1/6 of his stack, take a guess (unless "you put him on AK" which you should STOP DOING)

WE know because WE play poker. You appear to play cards.

Dude, seriously, most in this thread aren't trying to be jerks, myself included. But you are making it really hard for us not to just write you off as another guy who thinks he knows how to play poker, but pays all our bills. Don't get me wrong, we love you guys, but if you ASK for help here, you will usually get it. You need help.

P.S. Judging from his previous posts in other forums, this guy is legit in his ignorance, oddly enough.
