oh. i had a system set up (very well i might add) where the draft order was somewhat scrambled but it gave you incentive to always want to win every week. so winning was always beneficial. as opposed to a situation where at the end of the year you may want to tank to get a higher draft. but we lost very important results so we can't really do it.

Does anyone have the draft order by chance? Was it 5,7,9,12,6,10,8,11,4,3,2,1?

I believe there were a couple trades too. I think Del's Drinkaz obtained O'Donoghue's Triad's first pick in the Eli/Daunte trade, and was there also a draft pick included in the Jamal Lewis / Cedric Benson transaction? Lastly, what about the draft picks of the teams that are being taken over? Seems like the most fair method could be to just include the draft picks of those teams in the small takeover redraft -- or maybe give one manager choice of pick in the team redraft, and the other the choice of pick in the rookie draft...

For convenice, final standings:

1 Spanish Pantalones
2 Run Willis Run
3 Tinfoil Helmets
4 Warmongering Dillo
5 Bugstud
6 The Fun Bunch
7 Ron Mexico's Ho's
8 Del's Drinkaz
9 O'Donoghue's Triad
10 Berlin Bombers
11 GAMBOOOL
12 Custer's Brigade

[/ QUOTE ]

if that order is right, I was supposed to get bush. lol.

I would prefer a vote on the options

#1 as is from last year, slotting in redrafted teams somewhere

#2 making it "normal" with reverse points drafting.

#3 some combination of reverse points for non-playoff and the original system.

I;m torn as to what would be most fair.

#1 wont work because we dont have the results from the bottom 4 playoffs which O'Donghue's Triad won but i dont know what else happened. We should do some sort or random order for the bottom teams and then random for the rest if we dont go with ranking teams worst to best which is the most fair.

ranking teams is way too subjective. i think we have to accept that things might not correlate with they way they would have gone down if we had the results last year. it was our first year though, so things are gonna go wrong. let's just go with something that works and get this draft done asap.

Here is what SHOULD happen. We take the bottom 3 teams(would be 4 but one quit) and we make those picks random. Then for picks 4-12 we do completely random adding the 2 new teams into that. I dunno what we should do for rounds after that but thats how the 1st round should go.

This actually makes a fair bit of sense, and seems as fair as anything that's been suggested. We're not going to come up with any perfect solution this year with two expansion teams and no ironclad rules to work from, let's get the draft done and then we can figure out a permanent system for future years when people don't have a vested interest.

There was no draft pick included in this trade. I believe there was a pick traded in the Culpooper deal- was this one of the vacated teams? Because that would really F things up.

I'm fine with this as well, seems like a plenty fair way to do things after all that's happened.
