What do you think are the most important qualities for a player to have to make it as a pro?

List what you think are the best ways to improve your game aside from playing hell lot (this one's too obvious)?

Should you be running bad, how do you control from not getting on tilt? Do you quit up sessions at certain loss limit or quit the instance you feel you're playing bad? What methods do you use on this front?

Idk, probably patience, resilience, tilt management, bankroll management. I think the psychological factors are very important for someone who plays for a living.

CardRunners, talking to people who are better than you on AIM or MSN, posting hands, responding to hands, thinking about hands and common situations by yourself. I think the thinking and talking is most important, then CR then reading and posting hands.

I don't really tilt (at least not often or in an obvious manner). If I drop a few buy-ins due to suckouts it doesn't really phase me too bad, but if I donk off a couple buy-ins due to mistakes I made that will piss me off. If that happens I usually stop playing and take a break. If I ever feel tilt coming I stop playing immediately.

Going to finish watching season 1 of Grey's Anatomy (5 more episodes), then sleep for a couple hours, and then I'm off. If you come up with any questions just post them here and I'll answer them tomorrow morning or during the day some time.

what is your favorite non-poker thread on 2p2?

what is your favorite poker thread?

If you could unlearn one thing that is part of your poker game, what would it be?

Why am I not a baller yet?

Probably the one in BBV that started with a Grimstarr hand that escalated into a plethora of -owned stuff, like trombowned, calzowned etc.

Favourite poker thread is probably the 50/100 hand vs. Mahatma thread and especially AJo Go All In's response. I'll find the link some time.

Interesting, I really can't think of anything right now. If I knew what it was I would've tried to fix it in my game. I'd have to go over some PT hands to figure it out.

You haven't hung out in BBV enough.

If your table selection is good you shouldn't have too many 2p2ers at your tables anyway.

[/ QUOTE ]

Can you give us more tips on table selection, avoiding fellow 2p2ers and shooting fish (I've not heard of sixth sense, could you elaborate on why it is so good and what how to use it) Is sixth sense worth investing in at 50NL and limited playing time (is there an optimal number of hands that would make it worthwhile?

Talking of other aids.

In your opinion which books are worth reading and which aren't?
What are your favourite 2p2 threads?

whats the problem with the non monster tables on party?

[/ QUOTE ]

There aren't enough of them? Fish play at monster tables? I don't know. As soon as the Monster came out I withdrew everything and headed back to Full Tilt.

[/ QUOTE ]

If the fish play the monster tables at party why not play the monster tables?
