I have just given up trying to get on to Wpex. They have the worst support anywhere on the net. I wanted to get it downloaded to place a football bet and cant do so without disabling my firewall. They really do care. I guess they have all the business they want.
Anyway if you play there good luck to you if you ever run into a problem.

Did you call thier support. Disabling your firewall to allow WSEX is the same as any other site. If thats what they told you I'm sure they didn't mean the whole thing.

if you just want to place a football bet then you don't need to download anything.
downloading is only for the poker and casino stuff.

Regarding 100%+ rakeback, I'm not saying what sites I play on to get such stuff.
It's not all heads-up and ultra-shorthanded though. But on other high rakeback and prop sites it is.

Over in affiliates/rakeback forum you can find out more info.

60%+ on Prima (contributed) is easy to find.
As is the half-winnings deal on Code which can work to 100%+ rakeback on some games much of the time.

Those are just a couple of the obvious examples.

Yes, yes. 100% on WPEX is better than 60% on Prima when you initially look at it. But if you find a really juicy game on Prima than 60% over there is pretty good.
Obviously juicy games are pretty tough to find on WPEX.

right now there are a couple of reloads on Empire and Party.
If you are interested in playing low enough on there then the time you spend clearing the bonus could work out to 200% rake-back equivilent or higher.

That's not for everyone.
But if you are already the NL-50 type ALREADY then the game selection on WPEX isn't too fantastic for you to begin with.

And it's definitely worth getting 200% rake-back equivlilent on your 2k raked-hand stretch or so on Party/Empire.

That's just one fantastically obvious example (granted, only a 2k raked-hands though).

As everyone knows, I'm a big WPEX fan.
I'm also a fan of all the other sites where I'm in the 50%-125% (or higher) range.

Just pointing it out for those who actually believe OP's contention that those who would make such claims are liars because they don't specifically say which sites.

Dude, I don't want all these 2+2'ers coming to WPEX really. Although I'm okay with it if they do I'd prefer they didn't.

Reason I don't name other sites is that I don't want them coming over there either.

I've gotten $6200 back! I LOVE WPEX. Plus their high limit games (50/100 and 100/200) are soft as HELL if you can play 3 handed.

Thats just plain wrong I have signed up with 7 or 8 other sites and none, that's none, require me to disable the Norton firewall.
Their support just sucks which since they make nothing from the poker is to be expected.

I'm another fan of WPEX. I've received over $1600 in rakeback.

Yes, there are other rakeback/bonus deals out there but WPEX rakeback is so easy and straightforward to earn -- for ANYONE. Even a casual player playing one tournamnet a week is eligable and welcome.

Yes, there are indeed much softer sites to play at -- and that does effect hourly rate. But that could all change if WPEX's player base grew.

However, the reason I believe we should all be interested in the success of WPEX -- whether you want to play there for the rest of your career or not -- is that the success or failure of a 0% rake site sends a message to the entire online poker industry. Simply: do poker players care about and respond to the percentage of the pot the house keeps for itself? For purely selfish reasons, I would like to show them that we do care.
