I am just happy as a Tecmo Super Bowl fan that there are now 3 players on NFL rosters who were featured in the legendary game.

I am sure JoA knows the other two.

ugh...this is kind of embarrassing

I hate to see George go out this way

He is the best college quarterback I have ever seen in person (didn't see Peyton...sry). It's a shame this is going to further tarnish that image.

I don't get this. Whatever he does in Oakland couldn't look much worse than getting [censored] over by Schottenheimer and ran out of town. I don't see why coming back would be a bad thing either.

Most idiots already have a bad image about the guy anyway.

I'm thinking P Sean Landeta and K Morten Anderson, but I'm not sure if either of them have retired.

Corey Dillon is only 32 or something and I know that B. Favre came into the league one year after D. Bledsoe.

[/ QUOTE ]

Both of the players you mentioned have retired. With Deion Sanders' retirement, Jeff George is the last position player left and the only one in the AFC.

You guy are looking at this all wrong. Even with 5 years of rust he is likely going to be better than Aaron Brooks.

George was a backup for the Bears a couple of years ago
His last stint wasn't with Redskins

I'm pretty sure the Raiders only did this so at least one media personality -- Jason Whitlock -- will proclaim them preseason Super Bowl favorites.

This is awesome. He'll be starting by week 6, book it.

If my draft starts going bad on Saturday, I will pick up Jeff George for this very reason. I can't imagine a more fun guy to have on your team if your fantasy team completely blows.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is exactly why I picked up Vinny Testaverde when he came gloriously out of retirement last year

I don't believe Sean Landeta is still in the league - I think he finally hung up his one bar helmet at the end of last season - but Feagles and Carney is the correct answer.
