Nick,

I am assuming you are the 26yo guy who played for USC. Please verify that is correct.

Did you ever regularly play a singles spot higher than 4 at USC? When was the last professional tennis match you played?

I would like to play you for 5k, but I'd need a significant handicap. I'm going to get a handful of matches in over the next few weeks with players a little better than my regular opponents to figure out what would be reasonable.

I am also going to try and find a baseball pitcher and try out the other thing you proposed. It sure seems impossible for you to win against a decent player, but since you threw it out, something is obviously fishy.

etizzle,

You seriously should have to play this guy. You clearly made a challenge/acceptance against a guy who has been posting with his own name and posted a link about being a pro tennis player backed for a 100k match vs. Gus Hansen. If you have any gambling honor, yes, you should have to play this guy.

etizzle,

"Well, we're def not gonna play. The quetion is, is Gus Hansen a moron? No way can he win."

"I barely played high school tennis."

"was he good as a kid or something? I think I would have a hell of a lot better chance then gus does."

WTF are you talking about?

#1 - you don't even know what the handicap is.
#2 - why do you think you are better than Gus?

I've played a number of guys who are probably at about Nick's level. I've even bet some of them. Does that make me a moron? And I certainly don't make moronic statements about having a "hell of a lot better chance" than some guy without knowing how good a player he is.

diablo lets get together and hit some balls and come up with a great handicap. the throwing one is very fun and very tough.

if you live in vegas, give me a call. 702 325 8052

I was the highest ranked player on the team, was a singles All-American, but played #4 the year we won the NCAA's. Lot of people complained it was a stack, which it was, but we got the title. In the pros I was very successful at doubles, won 14 pro tournaments and got up to 150 in the world.
