Tomorrow I'm gong to download pokertracker and try to import some hand histories from WPX. A year or so ago I tried it and ran into all kinds of problems, though I don't remember exactly what they were.
Does anybody have any advice they want to give me up front about getting the program installed and working? Specifically, I will be using it at WPX. Are there any special considerations I should keep in mind about how it works there? My searches of the forum have turned up a ton of good advice about using the software, and I look forward to getting advice on putting PTer to work. Right now, though, I'm wondering if there is anything that will shorten my learning curve for just getting up and going. |

Not really. Most of the time, PT configs are very easy to do and there is a detailed help file in PT. It contains instructions on how to configure all the sites.
If you still have questions after that, don't hesitate to post |

The Help, FAQ's and Forums are excellent at Poker Tracker.
Use these, and you will not need to come here at all. |

After you download and install it, you can only import 1000 hands unless you buy it. After you buy it, you might have to wait a day for the reg code.
I found this series of articles helpful in learning how to use it. They are geared toward no-limit play, but are worth reading even if you only play limit. http://www.bet-the-pot.com/index.php?mod..._position=26:26 This is as far as I have gone. If you have some links for the ton of good advice you have found, I'd like to check them out. I haven't played on WPEX, so I can't help you there. |
