[ QUOTE ]
Can we have more commercial breaks? [/ QUOTE ] I couldn't agree more. I taped the first two on Windows Media Center, and after fast forwarding through the commercials, only about 25-30 minutes had passed from starting to finishing watching. I think there were only about 6-7 hands played out in the first episode -- it was fun to watch, but disappointing in that regard. |

Because of his cool line "fame, ain't it a bitch." [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, but then he started putting on the pounds. Now his head is as big as Rush Limbaugh's. He also looks like he had a mini-stroke. When he talks, one side of his mouth droops--probably from excessive fellating of people like Chuck Zito. |

[/ QUOTE ] I agree - I enjoyed listening to the players talk about the game and a little trash talking, but AJ kept blabbering on over them to the point you couldn't understand what was being said at the table. That being said, this is the best poker on TV. |

1. Did AJ Dickweed call Jerry Buss "Dr. Jerry Buss" in the opening segement? They had just finished talking about Dr. Amir Nasseri....What a tool. [/ QUOTE ] Probably because his name is "Dr. Buss"??? |

[ QUOTE ] gabe kaplan sucks the bukkake [/ QUOTE ] Ok that's just vile....but this.... [ QUOTE ] Gabe Kaplan: Any time Daniel & Doyle are in a pot together there's 1.5 million at stake [/ QUOTE ] ....is just retarded. Doyle has 500k so the most that is at stake is a million. Straight Flushes, SAM [/ QUOTE ] Ahem, actually the most at stake is $500K. Clearly you would do a much better job though. You would have degraded the owner of the LA Lakers by calling him Mr. instead of Dr. But hey, you got closer on this one! Kaplan thinks $1.5 MM is at stake, and you say it's $1MM, when it's actually $500K! You get closer so you win! And by the way, I'm pretty certain that Kaplan was playing up to the casual observer by saying 1.5M. Not everybody out there is aware of Mahatma and his $200K internet cash pots. After about the fourth episode, let's hope Kaplan nixes the overhyping of what is at stake. Doubtful, but we can hope. |

One thing I don't like is the real cash on the table. That's obviously just done to please the TV producers and make it look 'exciting'.
In the first hand in ep. 2, Jennifer Harlan takes a bundle of cash and says "What's that? 10?" I'm probably a nerd but I think it's way cooler the way they take two 25K chips out of their pockets to buy in again... It's definitely the best poker I've seen on TV though. |

The first time I went, I was amazed at the stacks of cash playing behind at even the 75-150 tables. At these limits, it is a bit obscene though. |
