looks like it was ghostbumped

How does that happen?

Oh, and on a related note, how is busterstacks not banned from 2+2? I saw that he posted recently. Come on, he used 2+2 to create a scam wherein he defrauded dozens of users of this site for thousands of dollars. How is that not grounds for having your account banned?

as both a mod and one of busters former players, i dont think that account should be banned from 2p2.

Someone makes a post to bump it, then deletes their post. The thread stays bumped.

It takes 2 minutes to make a new account. Banning people as a form of justice is pointless. If anything, it's counterproductive.

twoplustwo.com is not here to police the deals made between various members of its message boards. As far as im aware (which isnt very), buster didnt violate any terms of the 2p2 user agreement. Not only would this open a floodgate of "oh this person scammed me, BAN HIM!" which would be negative for the overall quality of discussion here, but also in the future might imply some sort of culpability.

Dont get me wrong, busters a dick, he did the wrong thing, and handled a tough situation in pretty much the worst way possible. That has very little to do with 2p2 or these forums.

And, as has been said, it takes two minutes to make a new account. Buster probably is some other well known poster.

I believe his IP can be blocked though.

There's ways around that too, but he's way too stupid to figure those out.

I'm fairly sure a retarded monkey could figure out how to use an anonymous HTTP proxy. The BusterStacks 2+2 account is banned however, and I doubt the beans will be spilled about whatever account he is posting under nowadays...

Yes, Mat Sklansky banned him just recently. At first, PJN's opinion, do not ban him, was the prevailing one amongst mods and admins. However, Mat made the executive decision to ban him largely due to popular demand. No one actually thinks it will do much more than appease the masses, but he has been banned.

Wtf, if the mods feel his real account should be banned, why is his gimmick account not banned? And Mat's the one who's totally anti-gimmick account.
