I always try to imagine what the board will look like if I hit my miracle card, BEFORE it comes. esp. if it will complete a flush or str. This also enters into my thinking about whether to continue on in the hand or not.

I like your check list. I think you have to play enough poker that these things become subconcious, like driving a car.
