I recently added a forum to it, I was wondering what I have to do to get it busy!!!!??????? [/ QUOTE ] Please take this advice constructively: -Drop the idea of a forum (for now) -Serious students of the game are going to come here to 2+2 -Running and moderating your own forum takes up time- would that not be better spent playing or learning. I personally think having your own poker web site is fine IF you try and contribute something that very few others do (ie find a niche). Ian |

Poker Plan is correct. I have been to many forums and it's really hard to get one that is active. It's like you are reinventing teh wheel.
There are some smaller ones around that are nice bcause you have a smaller group of people and you get to know them more but starting one is REAL hard. |

Well we have some things on the website to try and keep traffic coming back, and we do have some consistent traffic but they just havent signed up to the forum....what if I were to give anyone that has made 25 posts an exclusive bonus offer?? what do you guys think of that?

you'd get spammed then owned.
You need a niche, for example is Ed miller made a forum he'd have a niche offering his advice. if stox did(like he has) hes a good player, so people shall go. you have neither |
