Jamie Gold is currently a TV producer who used to be a Hollywood agent. Among his clients were Donny Wahlberg, Brandi, James Galdonfini, and Felicity Huffman. He lives in Malibu, California, and plays at the Commerce and the Hustler.

Here is his bio: Jamie Gold Bio

Gee, that would be great to have the 12 million dollars won by some multimillionaire Hollywood producer who probably already has more than that. LOL

[/ QUOTE ]

Or David Einhorn, who is third in chips could win. I don't know his net worth but he owns a 3 billion in capital hedge fund company. I suspect he may be the richest person to enter the ME and its a rare room that has anybody richer in it when he's around (he did buy a lunch with Warren Buffet for a quarter of a million dollars in 2003, so that was at least one time...).

Before you hate him for the absolutely not life changing amount of money he's playing for though, he's giving 100% of his winnings to parkinson's research.

Bastard.

if you take all those chip counts and add them up, you get 88,226,000 chips. if 8,773 players started, then we should have 87,730,000 in play. how did we get an extra 496,000 chips in play?!

racing off chips really add that much? that's some serious chip dumping from other tournaments, no?!

Well atleast at the end of the 1st day, you count your own chips and can really put any number on your bag. No one verifys your count. I have no idea if that changed after day 1.

The person who allegedly had the chip lead from one of the day 1's with ~228k, Hussein something, turned out to only have 28k since someone read his $ as a 2.
