nc,

one day off for interviews and other TV related issues would be great. Two days would just leave me thinking about it too damn much.

I think finishing play at midnightish, bagging and tagging, having to do TV stuff, fill out paperwork and then coming back the next day would suck.

What the [Carebear] does that even mean? You can't answer a question before you know what it is, unless you're a mindreader.

You are obviously not a Jeopardy fan.

Trebek: "Say yes when nobody asked."

Contestant: "What is, how can I avoid being evicted from my double-wide?"

Some are saying they won't because of PPV

They can just take two days off...but I agree, that would suck. I do definately expect a day off on Wednesday, though. Maybe they'll play to 18 tomorrow.

jeff lisandro seems to be a bit of a hollywood star, no?

After a small raise Lisandro, Cheng Lu, and the button see the flop. The flop comes 10d5d2d and Lisandro checks. Lu bets $200,000 and the button folds. Lisandro thinks for a while and makes the call. The turn is the Jc and Lisandro checks again. Lu bets $200,000 again and after 5 minutes of deliberation Lisandro moves all-in for $760,000 more. Lu says, "I came here to gamble," and calls. Lisandro turns over Ad7d and starts yelling and celebrating with David Chiu who is watching from the rail. Lu turns over Jh10s and has only 4 outs to make a full house to beat Lisandro's flush. The river is the 9c and Lisandro doubles up to $2,800,000 and Lu is down to $350,000.

What kind of advice are the coaches giving? Specific advice (He's tight, bluff him, etc...), or general (keep up the good work, slow and steady, etc..)?

I remember one of Phil Gordon's friends giving him a general type of a tip at the WPT Shooting Stars tourney that he won, and it didn't seem that unethical.

According to Cardplayer Roundtower (nee David Murray) is 47th out of 53 with 600K. Blinds are 10000/20000 and the ante is 3000. He's going to make at least $164K.

This is becoming a very deepstacked tourney and the prizes are starting to explode, but players are still dropping like it's an online turbo super sat.

I keep expecting players to smarten up and realize they have lots of time and that survival has real value but ...
