Dmitri Nobles Bets $200,000 Every Hand?
Dmitri Nobles has $653,000 in chips. And unlike many players who stack 40 or more chips on each other with a giant chip stack, Nobles is stacking them in stacks of 20. They take up so much of the table, that he has $200,000 in chips almost over the imaginary line where a bet would be placed.

Asking to get angle shotted.

busto at third level in the money. overplayed AA and created a big pot with an uber lag in an (now) obvious wawb spot and before i know it, 130k chips go poof. its amazing how one hand can remind me how much my game stil needs to improve.

Well, congrats on the finish though. Still something to feel good about.

Negreanu Can't Catch Outs
Chris Truong is all in against Daniel Negreanu with less than $20,000. Negreanu has A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]10[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and Truong has 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. The flop comes Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. The turn is the J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and the river is the 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Negreanu is down to $20,000.

DANIEL LOOKS POISED TO TAKE IT ALL

Also, re: Dmitri's chips, do they not have 5K chips in play or something?

Phil Hellmuth, who is currently sweating Hans "Tuna" Lund, has come over to grace the table with his rhyming skills. Hellmuth has adjusted the lyrics of the Notorious B.I.G.'s Hypnotize. Lyrics are below.

"Tuna, Tuna, Tuna, can't you see?

Sometimes your play just hypnotizes me."

I played like crap today and throughout this tournament, but still got lucky and cashed. Meh, a major learning experience about all the work my game really needs. I made some real blunders.

I also made a correct decision to fold into the money once the round for round started, based on the very flat payout structure and my M of between 2 and 3. Doubling up would have done little for my overall $equity, but I knew I could fold into the money. So, I folded AK twice and took my $14.5k.

I feel weak and dirty, but it was the right $EV move.
