I know it is illegal to have NLHE in Emeryville, but does this place spread one of those NL/Spread limit Hold'em things were the max you can bet on any round is $200 or something?

Doesn't look like it:
http://poker.wikia.com/wiki/Oaks#Games MarkT is very thorough; I'm pretty sure he'd have mentioned it if it were spread there. |

I was there on 7/14 while traveling. No it didn't spread any sort of NL or (wide) Spread Limit game.
There was discussion about it between a regular and the floor, but no real info to be gleaned about exactly why not. JWP |

Just got back from Oaks 10 minutes ago. The spread 15/30, and on busy nights 30/60, but no spread/NL games. San Pablo: yes, Lucky Chances: yes.

Do they have NL here now? This article implies they do.
Anyone have any recent reports on this place? (Heading to Cal game tomorrow and might hit it up) |

I think Artichoke Joe's is spreading NL again. [/ QUOTE ] This is only true in the sense that they can offer it. However, no one is going to play under the proposed structure: 1-1-2 blinds with a $500 min buy in. Either cater to the lower end players or high end players, but don't try to go in the middle.
