Full Tilt is one of the biggest sites right now. Its no stars or Party, but it is bigger than UB and Paradise last time I checked.

Full Tilt=Yankees of online poker. Buying up every free agent in sight, hubris, etc.

To keep that analogy going they have nothing to show for it...tho this isn't a baseball debate..they yankees probably don't get enough ROI...full tilt still doesn't have as much action as I'd like it to be. tho third isn't bad.

This isnt 1987. Steinbrenner paid like 8 mil for them 30 years ago. He could sell them for a billion or more today. Im a Yankee fan, wouldnt be suprised if they didnt make the playoffs this year, but he has gotten way more than his money's worth over the last 10 years and its not close.

Full Tilt is 3rd right now and climbing. Everytime I check during peak hours they are at over 26,000 players. Far surpasses UB and Prima. I just don't like the capped rakeback.

It seems that if the FTP pros played the higher games there regularly, even just as publicity stunts, that would keep them going. Obviously a lot of their pros would feel that to be a waste of time, but a thought.

However, their interface is likely the worst out of all the major sites.

I don't think it's an exclusive deal

I was playing 1/2 razz last night (yes, i'm awesome) and I saw the headline in the client.

I went to the ftp website and he's one of the "top pros" or whatever you would call him, not just a friend of the site.

full tilt is trying to become a premier name in poker, not just the best site, but maybe the best known......and then sell (if the u.s. govt. doesn't screw up their plans) and make all of the intial investors extremely rich/retired.

they are using all or a huge percentage anyway of their profit to market their company and put them in a position to achieve their goal of a huge selling price.

signing and keeping a huge stable of pros makes them a potential giant to the general public who only watches a bit of poker on tv. pure genius.

cheers. J.

Party has one of the best interfaces, not sure what you're talking about. It's their software that sucks.

Yeah, i love having a "bet pot" button that only exists when the action is not on you, and a slider which for some reason doesn't operate in whole amounts, rendering it pretty much useless.
