it's good to see party further blur any distinction that could be made between poker and gambling.

anyone know how much the average rake is for 3/6 nl?

I estimate this costs us $750 per 10,000 hands we are dealt.
we win about 15% of hands dealt to us times 50 cents per hand.

[/ QUOTE ]

And this will be the same for people playing $2000 or $100, right?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes. This is going to absolutely destroy the small stakes games at Party if the fish flock to these tables. If you play 6-max and win even 10% of your hands that's $5/100. Imagine having 55 cents taken out of a dollar pot instead of a nickel. Party ends up with all the money, I guess.

For those play small stakes, I think now would be the time to either look for games elsewhere or learn to play sit-n-gos.

ENJOY!!!

Are you sure that's right? .50 extra for every hand regardless of limits?

Well if I didnt have a reason to ditch Party for, this just takes the cake. Basically forcing everyone to play their retarded jackpot tables with a higher rake. So long Party, with your VIP offer that never comes and this crap, im done with your site forever..

Oh my god: I just realized that they take the 50 cents regardless of limits. This is truly a horrible thing to do at lower stakes.

Jep, 0.50 extra rake @100 NL is crazy.

The craziest part being there are hundreds of people playing those $100 Monsterrrrrrr-tables right now.

Anyone figure out how to turn off the box in the lower right corner stating the Jackpot? That this is really distracting, and pinning it still wont help much either.

F THIS!!!

I'm playing 100% of the time at WPEX or other sites till this is cleared up (or is over). They are increasing the rake. While there ISN'T an administration fee for the monster side of the 50 cents taken, there IS an admin fee for the other 70% of the 50 cents (bbj side). Also not to mention that NL tables will hit the BBJ WAY less often then limit tables, so the BBJ is +EV for limit, -EV for NL

The extra rake I speak of comes from this, every time they rake 50 cents they make an extra 3.5 cents. (50 cents times 70% toward the bbj, then 10% of that is admin fee)

I shrunk all of the new monster images but you have to do the same thing for the regular jackpot ones too(I think). I couldnt find all the images so I gave up.
