Default Party auto close at stop loss amount

My problem with poker is a lack of self-discipline, if I could always adhere to a stop-loss amount of 30BBs, I would have much better results. Does there exist a script that interfaces with PokerTracker that would automatically shutdown Party when my losses exceeded some predefined amount?

I realize I am incredibly lame for needing such a thing, but I would be appreciative if such a thing existed. Thanks.

If you play on paradise you can set limits, I never tried it though.

Thanks, but I am specifically interested in Party.

I can figure out how to run a database query from Excel to display my session wins/losses. I feel like I should be able to make Excel close Party via a macro when my session losses exceed a certain amount. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Most likely it would close the table just when you're in the middle of a hand that would have won you 30 BBs.

My self-discipline has more to do with playing the right limits, but I think I would just close the limiting application and there goes my money again.

[/ QUOTE ]I don't think withholding your external-restraint script is going to break any hearts. I'm glad you figured it out, but if you need a program to close Party for you after losing a certain amount, you're probably just going to open Party again, right?

If you like, you can use this dare as motivation to help your gambling problem. Prove me wrong by not compulsively continuing to play. A better option is to carefully evaluate your gambling habits and motivation.

lol how is that? 30BB is nothing and if you want to stop playing but can't that's a problem, IMO.
