I basically hate playing multiway pots (cause I suck.) On this turn I did not have a clue where I stand so I just call down and feel bad about it. My thinking is that I should of popped the turn again for the chance I am still ahead. On the other hand how often is my hand good on this turn card?

Why not cap the flop. He may easily have only a Q or a good draw. Get the money in while you still have the best hand.
It would make the turnplay easier too IMO, since the 9 is a pretty bad card which completes an oesd and a gutshot. If you capped the flop and BB leads again I would call down, if not I would bet. |

I just called to try to protect my hand on the turn. The 9 made me want to just call down.

I would play this the same way you did. Not capping the flop with the intention of raising a blank turn looks like the only difficult decision here, and I think you got it right.

I think you played the pretty well. That nine is not a good card and I think you get raised a lot here. Plus you don't want to get outplayed by something like pair+draw

I like waiting until the turn since capping the flop still gives the two guys behind you pretty good odds. I think bailing on that plan is probably correct as well.
